I think they’re beautiful. All each one took was a piece of inexpensive calico, a little madras, and a hook for hanging. Attention to detail is important, so cut neatly and sew well. Keep your coloured thread on coloured fabric. I was taught that whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well.

And yes, a little skill to get the writing done, but that’s easier than sewing, really. You don’t have to be an artist. A computer can help you get this done.

They were made in Montserrat, so there’s Montserrat written on the first, Emerald Isle of the Caribbean (same thing) on another. You can write whatever description you choose.
